Create beautiful presentations with minimal effort by using this user friendly macOS app that comes with Markdown support, and stylish built-in themes
Deckset is an easy to use presentations editor that comes with Markdown support and can quickly transform your notes into professional-looking slideshows. In addition, the app includes a collection of predefined themes that you can easily apply to your projects.
Instantly create beautiful presentations using Markdown commands
The Deckset app generates Markdown documents that can be edited either in the TextEdit app or in Xcode (you can choose the default editor via the Preferences window). As a result, you can input the text content in no time, and use Markdown tags for formatting.
Within the Deckset application, you can preview the results in real time, as soon as you save the changes in the source Markdown document. Keep in mind that you can also include in your presentation image or video files.
To customize the slide’s appearance, you can use any of the 10 built-in themes that integrate high-quality typefaces featuring both serious and playful designs. Furthermore, the themes also propose multiple color schemes but keep in mind that you have a limited number of options: you cannot import new fonts, or add new colors.
Export your slides to a PDF document or switch directly to the presentation mode
Deckset is able to generate a PDF file that contains all your slides, but you can also copy any slide to the clipboard and import it in any third party app that comes with PDF support. However, the app also includes a Presentation mode, where you can comfortably browse the slides in full-screen mode.
Bottom line, Deckset provides a streamlined solution for quickly creating high-quality presentations without making you deal with complex tools: you can format the text using Markdown commands, and style its appearance to your linking by using the built-in themes.
